Long before Sheena became a series, and before we moved to Orlando, Florida
to shoot it, we had to shoot a short presentation reel for the Studio.
Unfortunately, I have very few photos of the filming. These were shot at
Vasquez Rocks in Southern California.
As you can see, Gena was already signed to play Sheena. John was in
the presentation, but had not been locked for the series yet. And
interesting bit of trivia is that Margo had not yet been cast as Kali.
That role, in the presentation, was played by multiple Emmy award nominee
CCH
Pounder. A fascinating and wonderful actress, she was unavailable
for the series. I was saddened to lose her, but the discovery of Margo
Moorer more than made up for the loss.
